Ren (レン, Ren) is a recurring character in the "I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability" series.
Appearance[]
While she had no control of her powers she wore little clothing due to the fact that it made it easier for her to disperse the poison she creates. After she started being a follower of Lloyd she started wearing normal clothing. While in the palace she wears a suit with a maid design similar to Sylpha's dress and helps her take care of Lloyd's needs.
Personality[]
Since her debut she has had a melancholy like air to her, on the fact she neither wishes to use her cursed mark or her skills for assassination; but does so anyways because if she can't make money, she'd starve. She is later extremely grateful to Lloyd for fixing her mark because sometimes she'd accidently unleash her poison on non-targets and is secretly even more grateful because she was always a cuddle bug who loved to snuggle up to friends and family. She is also one of the few people who understands both Lloyd's obsessive nature with regards to magic but also knows of his innate kindness and that he has trouble showing others that he cares about them. Due to this Ren tends to defend Lloyd's ruthless, or at times manic decisions with a steadfast fanaticism that puts even Sylpha to shame.
Biography[]
When Ren was younger, she accidently killed her parents due to her poison since she couldn't control her powers. After the death of her parents, she lived in the woods alone until one day she met Jade who reached out to her and invited her to join his 'Assassin's Guild'. After joining the 'Assassin's Guild' they became like family to her. Galilea would be the one to teach her, Crow and Talia would design her clothes, and Babylon would make food that would neutralize Ren's poison. Jade himself became like a real older brother to her.
Relationships[]
- Lloyd de Saloum: First her target. then her stalker and finally her healer and savior. She decided to become a personal maid to him despite not having any qualities or experience with regards to a caretaker role. She tends to help Lloyd directly whenever he becomes fixated on a type of magic and tries and fails to support him. Despite this, Her growth in the series is directly linked to how best to serve Lloyd.
- Sylpha Langlis: Her mentor and Lloyd's first Personal Maid, despite the misguided envy; Sylpha goes out of her way to teach Ren her duties and even defends her because her dying would make Lloyd sad. Ren is also mortified of Sylpha's lustful behavior towards Lloyd when Sylpha is considered to be an adult and yet sometimes lets her lust come through.
- Tao Yuifa: Like Lloyd, Ren picks up on qi technique from Tao and modifies it into her own personal type combined with her magi mark. Unlike Sylpha, Ren tends to get along with Tao when romance is not involved, when romance talks surfaces; Ren tends to become disinterested.
- Jade Lordost: The first person to understand her and the blight mark she had since she was a child. Was at first confused at Jade's reappearance but also extremely upset that a demon would use Jade's body in a way she felt Jade would abhor.
- Galilea: Despite being feral and disliking his approach to befriend her when they first met, Ren trusted Galilea the least since he tends to be a realist first and a softie second. However, over time she begins to see him as the "uncle" she never had, even becoming awestruck that he could finally control his ability which was the second hardest to control among the guild.
- Babylon: She sees him as a aloof older brother, often amazed at his acrobatics and cool one liners that makes her feel like he's the best big brother.
- Crow: As the second youngest one; Ren tends to bicker with Crow the most, often complaining about how she wished he didn't have his mark, since he became such a chatter box.
- Talia: Ren sees Talia as her Older Sister, and takes lessons from her seriously, like resolve and doing what is right and to protect family. Tends to snuggle up to her whenever she has time off.

- Ren's favorite colors are Magenta and purple.
- Ren is also Lloyd's official food taster, due to the fact that Ren is immune to most if not all toxins.
- Ren has a fascination with poisons and tries to convince others that even the most dangerous of poisons can become medicines if treated the right way.
- Ren is an Empath, so she tends to feel others' emotions; causing her grief and questioning herself when "Jade" appears before her.
- Despite her often-pessimistic view, she's actually the most optimistic out of everyone in the series.
- She has a very "Fangirl" vibe when it comes to Lloyd's magic use often crying tears of happiness at his ever-growing repertoire of spells.
- When Ren is extremely angry, she gives off a Yandere vibe, that chills even close friends and family.
- Ren is an amazing cook, having spent her childhood as a wild child, she learned many unique stews and dishes, and even enjoys cooking for others; though sometimes her foods "Look poisonous" but are in reality actually very tasty.
- Ren is considered a prodigy herself, however only in life-or-death situations.
